Nestled in leafy Auburn Village in Hawthorn, the Geebung Polo Club was established in 1888.
The Geebung has long been regarded as one of Melbourne’s iconic pub and function venues. Many colourful licenses have owned or operated this famous bar restaurant in Hawthorn, including the late John Coleman who is still considered to be an AFL legend.
Extending over two levels, the venue features a recently refurbished 80 seat dining room, main bar and entertainment area, a modern outdoor courtyard with retractable roof, and a number of private function rooms for hire.
The Geebung has built its reputation on providing great service in a warm and welcoming environment. Guests are treated to an extensive range of beers on tap, an impressive wine list and award-winning lunch and dinner menus.
