Taxi Dining Room, Melbourne Victoria

Taxi Dining Room is located on the first level of Transport Hotel located on the South West corner of Federation Square. The vantage point allows expansive views of Melbourne surrounds stretching from the Melbourne Cricket Ground across the rowing sheds of the Yarra River, along the tree lined St.Kilda Road Boulevard and towards the western skyline beyond Southbank. The menu offers modern Australian cuisine influenced by Japanese flavours. Created by Executive Chef Tony Twitchett the menus reflect the high quality, seasonal produce and pristine seafood available in Melbourne.

Overlooking Federation Square’s main plaza and stage as well as offering 180 degree views of the Yarra River, the River Room and Terrace are Melbourne’s perfect space for any special event. The River Room has the capacity to hold a maximum of 38 guests for a seated event. The Terrace can accommodate up to 45 guests seated and 55 cocktail style. Both the Terrace & River Rooms combined can seat 80 guests.
